Weather
Information If the weather becomes severe we may need to cancel services and activities. Our policy states that services and activities will be cancelled if a tornado watch or severe thunderstorm warning is in effect one hour prior to a scheduled service or activity. During office hours, we will do our best to inform you of cancellations by sending out an email message to those on our email list & post it on our church website. Cancellations will also be submitted to WCSG radio station, WOOD TV8, & WZZM 13 stations. If in doubt, call the church and we will have it on the answering machine. During the school year, ALL Wednesday night activities will be cancelled when the Rockford Public Schools are CLOSED! If the weather becomes severe after school is out, call our church office at 866-0345 after 4:00pm, and we will leave a message on our answering machine as to status of our Wednesday activities & follow the above procedures. |

How You Can Help the Friendship Ministry at RBC |

What is it? The PaperGator® is a bright green recycling bin with a friendly looking “Gator” on the front. It will be a unique ongoing fund-raiser for our FRIENDSHIP MINISTRY. They will receive money for the collected paper products that are put in the bin for recycling. The bin is located next to the trash receptacle in the church parking lot. Save your papers & drop them off when you come to church. Why do it? Being good stewards of our resources is a great reason by itself, but in this case you can help our Friendship Ministry earn funds by recycling! It can be used by anyone who wishes to recycle paper, so tell your friends. Where does the paper go? The paper will be picked up once a week and taken to BPV Environmental in Byron Center, Michigan to be processed. What will the paper become? The paper will be shredded and processed into hydroseeding mulch, lawn establishment products, lawn repair products, cat litter, dog litter or small animal bedding. What can go in the bins?
