Welcome to Rockford Baptist Church. Here we'll answer some of the most common questions we are asked, share some important links, and help you become more familiar with who we are.

We hope this helps to get things started. We're always here if you have specific question.
You will see people wearing jeans and relaxed clothing. You may also see a few folks in a jacket and tie. Wear whatever you feel comfortable with.
Elementary children have a special area just for them called the LOOP. Nursery care is available on Sunday mornings for newborns through age 3 starting at 9:30a. Please arrive several minutes prior to the service to get your children checked in. From 9:30 - 10:30a is Sunday school for ages 2 through 5th grade. During the 11:00a worship service children K - 5th grade will be dismissed to the children's church program with music, teaching, and activities. However, kids are welcome to sit with you during the service if you'd prefer. The teens have an area called The JAR. Sundays from 9:30 - 10:30a is a teaching time where they will study Biblical truths and how to apply them in their daily lives. They will join the congregation during the worship time.

We meet every Sunday. Services include Sunday school for children through adults meeting from 9:30 - 10:30a. There is a coffee fellowship time from 10:30 - 11:00a leading into worship at 11:00a.
If you're new to the Church, we would like to get to know you better. Visitor Cards are located at the Welcome Center in the lobby. If you feel comfortable, we ask that you fill out the card and leave it at the Welcome Center as you leave. Be assured your information is safe. You may also fill out this Visitor Card online (see below). This is very helpful for our ministry staff. And, we'll send you a free gift!
If you are a newcomer, just come and allow us to serve you. If you choose to make RBC your church home, we hope that you will joyfully worship and obey God by financially supporting the church.
When you come through the front door of the church you will be greeted with a warm handshake. If you need information, directions, or assistance parking your vehicle, the greeter team is there to help. From 9:30 - 10:30a is our Sunday school hour with classes for children age 2 through 12th grade. During this time there are Adult Bible Fellowship classes also meeting. We have classes and studies for all ages. The worship service begins at 11:00a and generally runs one hour. Service starts with our Praise Team, accompanied by instruments such as piano, guitars, drums, and keyboard. We have a variety of music styles which are a blend of contemporary and traditional songs, that are easy to sing and let us express our praise for God. Our Pastor will then bring a message, drawing relevant challenges from the Bible.
